Faoi fhorálacha Chuid 5 d’Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla 2003, tá sé i gceist ag an gCoimisiún Logainmneacha comhairle a thabhairt don Aire Ealaíon, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta, Jimmy Deenihan, TD, ordú logainmneacha a dhéanamh chun leaganacha oifigiúla Gaeilge de logainmneacha Chontae Chorcaí (seachas na ceantair Ghaeltachta) a dhearbhú.
Sula dtugann sé a chomhairle, is mian leis an gCoimisiún moltaí a fháil ón bpobal maidir leis an ordú atá molta, na leaganacha Gaeilge san áireamh. Chun deis a thabhairt an dréacht-ordú a scrúdú, tá dréacht den ordú atá beartaithe á sheoladh ag an gCoimisiún. Tá na leaganacha Gaeilge sa dréacht bunaithe ar obair an Bhrainse Logainmneacha sa Roinn Ealaíon, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta. Scrúdóidh an Coimisiún na moltaí go léir i gcomhar leis an mBrainse Logainmneacha sula dtugann sé an chomhairle don Aire.
Ba cheart moltaí a sheoladh i bhfoirm aighneachtaí chuig An Rúnaí, An Coimisiún Logainmneacha, 43-49, Bóthar Mespil, Baile Átha Cliath, 4, roimh 10 Eanáir 2012.
