In the Townland of Kilquan in this Parish is an old grave yard in which a church formerly stood but no part of it’s walls is now visible. And there is a similar graveyard in the townland of Freemount but no remains of a church; the church which stood in this latter grave yard was called Knockacappul Church [taobh le bf Knockacappul]".
