    Níl a fhios againn an ó chainteoirí Gaeilge a breacadh foirm an phinn luaidhe san Ainmleabhar, 1838 ‘Cnoc na mbó’ (pl:AL). Is é seo agus 1838 ‘Grainn na faille’ faoi bf Garrán na Faille (#27741) an t-aon dá leagan Gaeilge atá scríofa i bpeann luaidhe sa pharóiste seo.

    Cf. 1655 ‘Knockamo’ atá léirithe ar an Down Survey i seanpharóiste Chluain Caoin (= par. Mhainistir Laoise, bar. Chlár Maí Locha).
