Glossary

English small ring-fort

Explanatory note

  • Gaeilge

    the gapped (little) ring-fort?

Is cosúil gurb ionann é seo agus 1654c ‘[the windmill of] Rahine’ sa chur síos ar theorainn thoir na barúntachta. Ní léir aon bearna “gap” anseo agus is ar éigean gur Ráithín Branach “the (little) ring-fort of Ó Broin” atá ann (cf. #28183, #28176).
