Ainmneacha stairiúla:
Bhíodh an baile fearainn seo roinnte ina dhá chuid, 107 acra thoir i bparóiste Dhíseart Aonghais agus 43 acra thiar i bparóiste an Fhosaidh nó Thigh Mochua. Tugann CPR 113 le fios gur leis an bPiogóideach an roinn thiar sa bhliain 1608, ar a dtugtar ‘Tirekiragh’ sa téacs (ní léir an truailliú é seo ar ‘Coolcreagh’ < bf Cúil Chríche (#28491) nó an fíorainm ar leith é < Tír Chaorach (?) “land of sheep”). Bhí an roinn thoir ag Brereton agus ritheadh an teorainn eatarthu ‘through the grove of Blacklone’ (< Breac-chluain (?) “speckled pasture”).Sa roinn thiar a bhí an cnoc cn Sián Maí Glaise (#1419166) a luaitear i roinnt seanghníomhais (pointe triantánachta 455′ SO 6″).
