Truailliú iad seo araon ar *Clonterry, mar is léir ó na tagairtí 1619 ‘Genterry al’ Clonterse’ [leg. ‘Clonterfe’] agus 1621 ‘Gentery alias Cloneterfe alias Clonterry’.

Díol spéise na foirmeacha nua úd de chuid an 17ú haois .i. 1621 ‘alias Cloneterfe’, 1619 ‘al’ Clonter[f]e’, mar is cosúil gur iarrachtaí iad ar an dara mír a shoiléiriú mar tairbh “of (the) bull”.
