Tagann -n deiridh isteach is amach san fhianaise, mar a thagann san fhianaise do bf Ráth Rua-uinseann (#28656). Cf. an tagairt ag Coote do chrann fuinseoige ollmhór i mBaile Lé sa bhliain 1801 ‘Near to the castle, in the village, stands the great ash tree, which is by far the largest in the kingdom…’ Stat. Surv. 136.Díol spéise an bréagaistriúchán 1666 ‘Deryenefonsy … alias Derrynefonsin … alias Hoopegrove or Hope-Grove’ ASE 84, faoi mar a bheadh fonsa “hoop” san ainm Gaeilge. Tá roinnt leathaistriúcháin agus bréagaistriúcháin san fhoinse céanna, cuid acu níos cruinne ná a chéile. Níor mhair an ceann áirithe seo i bhfad, pé duine a chuimhnigh air.
