[Church Island]
"Church Island in Garadise Lough belongs to Lord Leitrim. The old walls in this instance are the ruins of an old house of worship built by Tieghirulach O'Rourke in the year 547 of the Christian area. There is a burying place in the island which was entirely reserved for the interment of the O'Rourke family."
