"Arch. Inventory Cave. ‘Pollticoghlan.’ In a slight hollow in an upland valley. A N-S stream terminates at a rock-cut gully with a swallow-hole at its S end. It was the focus of an outing on Pulty Sunday or Garland Sunday, the last Sunday in July into the 20th century as part of a celebration of Lughnasa (230). "
