"Pinkman: An Sídh-Beag = Little fairy hill. This is a prominent hill in the parish of Kiltubrid. On the west boundary there is a subterraneous passage, the exit of which is said to be among some rocks and bushes on the east boundary. There is a rath on this hill around which many legends are woven about the fairies and their doings. On the top of the hill there is a remarkable cairn visible for miles around. Tradition associates this with the burial place of Finn Mac Cumhal. One of the Peyton family, at the beginning of the eightenneth century, had a gigantic figure of this hero erected on top of the cairn. It was blown down by a storm many years ago. "
