"Pinkman: Druim-na-Fionghaile = Ridge of the fratricide. Fionghal, is used to denote the slaughter of a fellow-tribesman or relative, and is generally translated fratricide. “Fionghalach, a fratricide, one who has killed a tribesman” (O’Donovan). Among the ancient Irish this was considered a very great crime – so great that a curse was believe to alight on the murderer and his race. "
