"Pinkman Druim-ghiolla-ráith = Gilra’s or Gilray’s ridge. There are two townlands of this name in Co. Leitrim and in both cases this would appear to be the traditional interpretation…. Drumgilra, in Gortletteragh Parish, now embraces what were formerly three separate divisions – Gubroe, Parkatreenaun and Crockalissa. Drumgelreaghe, Inquisition 1631."

"Arch. Inventory Holy well. ‘Toberearly.’ In a low-lying position beside a stream. A small overgrown hollow is marked as a holy well only on the current ed. of the OS 6-inch map (189). Rath. ‘Cruckalissa.’ At the N end of a NW-SE drumlin ridge (84)."
