"Pinkman Druim-ghiolla-ráith = Gilra’s or Gilray’s ridge. There are two townlands of this name in Co. Leitrim and in both cases this would appear to be the traditional interpretation…. Drumgilra, in Gortletteragh Parish, now embraces what were formerly three separate divisions – Gubroe, Parkatreenaun and Crockalissa. Drumgelreaghe, Inquisition 1631."
