It has been found by an inquisition taken ex officio that one John s. of Arnold Fleming was seised in his demesne as of fee of 1 messuage and 40 acres of land in Flemyngton near Kentestoun, and died seised of the same; and on the day he died he was outlawed of felony. The messuage [etc.] are held of Robert Tuite kt, as of his manor of Kentestoun, by suit of court from month to month. Henry Clakeston and Thomas Rede have occupied that land, which is worth 6s 8d p.a. And now Thomas Rede and Alice his wife, appearing in chancery, say that Magina Bernard,1 mother of Alice (whose heir Alice is), was seised in her demesne as of fee (Cal. ICR (chancery.tcd.ie))
