26 Nov 1535. Dublin, before the Barons of the Exchequer. Robert Scurloke of Athboy, gent., & Beatrix Whit his wife were seised inher right of 180a. in Dryssoke & Dyrlangane, 60a. in Hethton, 40a. in Ademeston, 80a. in Tyllagharde, 60a. in Martenston & 120a. in Clonaghyry , co. Meath. On 24 Jan 1526 they charged their lands in Hethton, Adamston, Tullygharde, Martenston & Clonaghry with an annuity of 16m. p.a. for wife to Stephen, their s. & h., & Margaret More his wife. Robert & Beatrix enfeoffed John Lawles & Richard Whit of Athboy, chaplains, of all the premises. After Robert Scurloke's death they settled them on Beatrix for life, with remainder to Stephen. After Stephen's death Beatrix d. seised, & the premises descended to Walter Scurloke, Stephen's s. & h., who d. seised. On his death they descended to Marion Scurloke, his sister & heiress, & George Masone, s. & h. of Ellianor Scurloke, another sister & heiress.
