"There is in this townland a well called 'St Patrick's Well' where R. Catholics resort for the purpose of performing 'stations' in order to cure different diseases. Convenient to the well is a large pile of stones. The people go round this well on their bare knees telling their beads and throwing a stone upon the pile before mentioned.
