Price (1967, 102): ? sliabh na mboth. In Slievenamough Plain, a hollow with a stream in it, beside the road, is called Trumawn. This name is usually explained as tromán, and elder tree, or a place of elder trees, but it is applied to places on the mountains in Co. Wicklow where one would not expect elder trees to grow. [sruthán a bhíos idir chamáin leis an téarma tromán anseo.]
