E. extremity there is a small ancient mound…several large standing stones which it is said at one time formed a circle, 7 chains W. of this, there are a number of large stones compactly placed together in the form of a grave…said to be the grave of a giant who was killed in a conflict in a place called 'Lagnafalla' at the base of the hill 'Shanaghdeen'..."
