Fair Hill
Above the Fair Hill there is the railway goods section. from the milestones across to the present Railway Hotel - thence along the Eastern wall of the market back again was a very distinct village: property deeds of 1751 identify the Cork Road section at Harnetts Row. There were seventy cottages. It was in the "goats commonage" facing this that the martyrs were hanged. The site is still identifiable.
