Sruth an Aghaidh an Aird
The part of of this glen in the County of Sligo is called Gleann Chairbre to Sruth an Aghaidh an Aird, literally, Stream against the Height, so called because when there are heavy rains and high winds the water is dashed against the declivity, along which it descends into the Glen. This stream divides the Counties ofSligo and Leitrim in that part. 132
