field of (the) bare trees?
Native Irish speakers interviewed in the 1960s in the course of field work stated that the last consonant was broad (implying the genitive plural), although the Irish forms collected by the Ordnance Survey (1839) suggest Gort Lomáin (genitive singular). The word lomán has several meanings
