Castledoe
Sir Richard Bindley was the first Patentee. Captain Sanford hath 500 acres, called Castledoe (216). Upon this there is a Bawne of Lime and Stone, 40 feet square, 16 feet high, and a Castle within it that is very strong; himself and his Wife and Family dwelling therein, with four other English Families on the Land.
