An old church in ruins and a burial ground in this townland. The Parish of Dromard took its name from this burial ground. There is a holy well called Saint Patricks well here where Stat. Surv. (St)ions are performed. 'Tis said to be the oldest Holy Well in the Province of Connaught that Saint Patrick blessed it, and that water has been brought from it to purify and consecrate all the other Holy wells in the province.
