Drum Chollum ...Tobar Chollum (Cille)
"LSO: Drumcollum Parish is called Drum Chollum. In the Townland of 254 Drumcollum there is an Old Church in ruins which tradition says was founded by Saint Columbkille. There is a well at the church called Tobar Chollum (Cille). At the old Church there is the figure (image) of a man, made of stone, which the people say is the figure (image) of Columbkille. The Patron day of this parish is not remembered. Archdall says that “Drumcollumb is situated in the Barony of Tireril, a little to the north of Lough Garagh. This Church owed its origin to St. Columb, and St. Finbar was Abbot of it.
