Cúil na gCopóg
The Modern Irish form means 'the corner of the dock-leaves'. The initial word seems to have altered in this instance also, judging by earlier forms such as, Cowrnygopoge (1613), Cuirneguppoge (1630) = Cuar 'a curve'?
