"Pinkman: Eanach-Bhrádacháin = Bradican’s marsh or bog. Bradachán is a variant of the name Brádaigh, Brady. The bog is rather extensively spread over the North, South, East and West of this townland. The middle is arable and pasture land. Annaghbradican lies about a mile south east of Gowel Catholic Church. "
