"Pinkman Cor-lascach = Hill of the burning. This is a place, where the land was burned, probably, for agricultural purposes. According to O’Donovan lascach is here a form of lascadh. The name is written Corlaske in a Royal Commission Report on Co. Leitrim in 1821-1825. "
