"Pinkman: Druim-luibhean = Ridge of the herbs. Luibh denotes any herb, and luibhean is a form of the genitive case. The name was attached to places that were particularly remarkable for the smaller vegetable productions. Compare Drumliff in Cavan and Fermanagh, Druim-luibh (Joyce). This place is beside the Catholic Church in Gowel. "
