"Pinkman: Ros-na-mBráthar = Point of land of the friars. “There is an old church in ruins.” Writes Dr. O’Donovan, “near the old castle of Rosclogher. Baron MacGlancy is said to have been the builder of it. The townland of Rosfriar belonged to this Church and tradition says that the townland, now called Aganlish, was anciently called Termon (Tarmon, and belonged to it too.” Letters on County Leitrim. "

"LSO: There is an old Church in ruins near the old Castle of Rosclogher; the Baron Mc Clancy is said to have been the builder of it. The Townland of Rossfriar (Ros na mBrathar) belonged to this Church (Abbey?) and tradition says that the Townland now called Aghanlish was anciently called Tearmuinn and belonged to it (128, 252) "
