"Pinkman: Lios-na-mBreac = Fort of the trouts Breac, a trout or any fish taken with a hook. Fish were often in the dykes that surrounded the ‘lios,’ or fish in streams nearby may have been the origin of the name. "

At the bottom of a S-facing slope at the head of a small NE-SW valley with a stream in a coniferous forest… None of the stones have any markings, but local tradition associates it with a Fr. McGriskin (198). Sweathouse (site). On a S-facing slope on the W side of a NE-SW stream (225). "
