"Pinkman: Connradh = An agreement, a bargain. This is the old local interpretation of the name (O’Donovan). Probably a place where some agreement, signifying the settlement of some ancient dispute, was effected. Compare Cloonconragh, in Mayo, Cluain-Connrach, meadow of the agreement (Joyce). This name occurs twice in North Leitrim. "
