"Pinkman: Druim-Thanaidhe = Tany’s ridge. Tany is a man’s name and means literally ‘gracillis’or ‘thin.’ “Tanaidhe O’Mullchonrie, Chief Chronicler of all Connaught died and was buried in Kilbarry AD 1385. “And Maoilin the son of Tanaidhe the most highly respected and honoured of all the poets of Ireland died” 1441 AD. The Teallach Tanaidhe were a branch of the Cenel Luachain in the north east of south Leitrim. "
