"Pinkman: Druim-mín = Smooth, small or fine surfaced ridge. O’Donovan glosses this name with ‘dorsum leve’ and I think Druim-mín and not druimín is the proper Irish form. The two “M’s” are distinct in local pronunciation, and the physical appearance is in agreement with this."

"Arch. Inventory Drummeen/Mullaghbrack Crannóg (possible). Depicted on the current ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small island in the small lake, Drummeen Lough, which has now silted up and is covered in mixed woodland (46). Rath. In a low-lying position near a stream and now occupied by farm buildings (86). Rath. Towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of a drumlin (86)."
