"Pinkman: Druim-mín = Smooth, small or fine surfaced ridge. O’Donovan glosses this name with ‘dorsum leve’ and I think Druim-mín and not druimín is the proper Irish form. The two “M’s” are distinct in local pronunciation, and the physical appearance is in agreement with this."

Depicted on the current ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small island in the small lake, Drummeen Lough, which has now silted up and is covered in mixed woodland (46). Rath.
