Foghyn
Estate of Herbert de la Mare taken into the King's hands for outlawry. Lands of Herbertston & Foghyn County Meath. Tenants plead that by Inquisition time of Richard 2nd said Herbert was found seized of a messuage & a carucate in Herbertston the day he was outlawed viz 31 Edward 3 - that long before outlawry he had conveyed same to his son & heir John de la Mare. Said John gave them to Nicholas de Castelmartyn Knight his heirs & assigns forever & he gave them to trustees for ever.

Foghyn
Close Role 1 Henry VI <br> To the escheator. It has been found by inquisition that John de la Mare—who was lately seised in his demesne as of fee of 1 messuage and 1 acre of land in Herbertestoun near Foghyn, co. Meath—was outlawed for various felonies and that, after John's death, Thomas Graunt and Nicholas Rowe occupied the said messuage and land, which are held of William Darcy as of his manor of Martry.2 (Cal.
