Ba é Conghalach Ó Ceallaigh an tiarna deireanach ar an ríocht stairiúil Breá (Woulfe, 1923). Daoine den chléir a bhí iontu chomh maith.

Ó Ceallaigh – surname

It is clear from Irish historical sources that the Uí Cheallaigh family (Uí Néill an Deiscirt) played a significant role in society in this part of the country before the Norman invasion. Conghalach Ó Ceallaigh was the last lord of the historic kingdom of Breá (Woulfe, 1923). They were also an ecclesiatical family.
