"Since this parish was first laid out by the boundary department, it was divided into two portions viz. the parish of Kilmacreehy comprises the western portion and the parish of Killaspucklonaun the E.. Along the S.W. of the latter runs the river 'Delagh' and also along a portion of the N.E. the Ennistimon river, which forms a junction with the former eastward of 'O'Brians Bridge'...along the N. and N.W. of Kilmacreehy Parish, the Cliffs of Moher are situated" [Desc.
