"About 20 acres of the townland are rocky. The remainder is under tillage and pasture. A great portion of its west side is subject to winter floods. There is a fort in this townland called Lissathee, a neat cottage called Dysert Cottage, the residence of Mr Hugh Curtin, a holy well called Tubberraght and an old castle in a tolerable state of preservation called Dysert Castle, and a bridge of 1 arch called Dysert Bridge, & a stone called Maunalan[s] stone, Clough Maunalan" [Desc.
