'Patrick Fieragh of Firhouse ... died 1715. This name appears to be Irish, but I never heard it before. I believe it is the anglecism of O Fiachrach, and if so I think it is a Connaught name.' E. Curry LSO(BAC) 58/24 s.v. Churchyard of Tallaght.
