Fearann Chlann Laoisigh mhic an Chéadaigh “the land of the descendants of Laoiseach son of An Céadach [Ó Móra]” ainm na seandúiche atá le feiscint in 1551 ‘lordship of Farryn Clonlyshemcedo’; cf. 1549 ‘Feryn Klynekedd’ < Fearann Chlann an Chéadaigh agus 1549 ‘Sleight e kedde’ < Sliocht an Chéadaigh “descendants of An Céadach”. Tagann na hainmneacha cine céanna chun solais arís in 1570 ‘do cuireadh clann an Chéadaigh Uí Mhórrdha chum báis .i.
