Thabharfadh sé sin tacaíocht don tuairim gurb é seanainm na dúiche seo Uí Bhuí (gin. Ó mBuí sa Ghaeilge Chlasaiceach) atá sa cháilitheoir (cf. inter alia Ó Murchadha, Laois: History & Society 51).
