April anno 15 [1404], made provision to him, then a canon of Kildare, bachelor of canon and civil law, priest, of the said see, void at the apostolic see and reserved by the resignation made there to Francis, cardinal priest of St. Susanna's, who received the same by order of pope Boniface, of Robert, bishop, sometime [bishop] of Kildare, through his proctor John Swayne, rector of Galtrym in the diocese of Meath, after which John was consecrated at the apostolic see by licence (de.. licencia, cf. f. 13) of pope Boniface, who died before the letters of provision were drawn up.
