Kilmo-chroídhe, 'as if church of my heart'
pron.:AL Imleabhar: 1, Leathanach: 4
1840 |
The natives pronounce the name as if it meant Cill Mo Chroidhe...I find a St. Mochruadhong set down in the Calendar at the 10th of November, who belonged to Ard Columb near Wexford, and it is possible that his name might be corrupted to Mochroidhe.
