VII 159-163 ...The pope has already rehabilitated Remundus Bremycheam, clerk, of the diocese of Tuam, at his petition setting forth that formerly John, archbishop of Tuam, made collation and provision to him by his ordinary authority of a canonry of Tuam, in which church there is no fixed (certus) number of canons nor distinction of prebends; that subsequently William Ranny, dean of Tuam, then vicar-general in spirituals of the said archbishop, from whom he had special power, made collation and provision to him of the parish church of Killheryheran (also written Kyllheryheran) in the said diocese, instead of a canonical portion in the said church of Tuam; and that he (who is illegitimate, being the son of an unmarried man of baronial race and an unmarried woman of knightly race, and was then suffering defect of age in regard to holding the said parish church, being in his sixteenth year, but who had duly received the tonsure) had, without being dispensed on account of the said defects
