These educational resources are provided as a tool for teachers and students. Placenames are a central part of Irish heritage. We hope that these resources will awaken an interest in them. The resources are in Irish and are printable.
Educational resources for primary schools
This file contains educational resources intended for children in the senior grades of primary schools. They are suitable for any region of the country. Six work schemes are available, one as an introduction to placenames in general and five based on different themes. These resources could also be used in some post-primary classes. Note: this document is in Irish.
