An Bhuiríos — the borough
‘Buizhiais’ le /ʒ/ (mar atá in je na Fraincise nó treasure an Bhéarla) an fuaimniú áitiúil a bhreac an tSuirbhéireacht Ordanáis ó bhéalaibh Ghaeilgeoirí na háite in 1838 (cf. Litreacha na Suirbhéireachta Ordanáis I 1, nóta faoi par Achadh Bhó (#1412)). Bhí an r-caol suaithinseach seo /ʒ/ le fáil ar fud sheandeoise Osraí (cf. inter alia R.A. Breathnach in Éigse I agus XXVI; LASID II; Dáithí Ó hÓgáin, Duanaire Osraíoch agus Labhrann Laighnigh).
