VRTI MedEx 1/2/1350/a Medieval Exchequer of Ireland 1270 - 1446 This fonds brings together editions of archival material related to the medieval Irish exchequer from across multiple repositories represented in the Virtual Treasury. It replicates the hierarchy of the medieval exchequer, where the lower exchequer dealt with payments into and out of the treasury and the upper exchequer audited those accounts and served as a financial court.
