Patent Roll 2 Henry IV <br> GRANT, for a fine of £20, to John Darditz of Grilly, of custody of 1 messuage and two thirds of 1 carucate of land in Cossanes, in the K.'s hand by reason of the minority of John, son and heir of Matthew White, who held in chief of Edmund, son and heir of Roger Mortimer, late earl of March and lord of Meath, a minor in the K.'s wardship, as of his manor and castle of Trim; and also 1 messuage and 2 carucates of land in Glaskarne and Pecokestoun, as of his manor of Ratoath, (Cal. Jurors:—Walter Starkey of Nynche, Mathew Bathe of Bessheleston, William Richyn of Glascarn, Thomas Corbally of Dunshaghlyn, Nicholas Tuyt of Frayne, John Nugent of Balrathnesly, Robert Crompe of Marscaleston, Nicholas Mole of Martineston, Nicholas Ford of Fordeston, James Begge of Moyaghie, Richard Bertram of Rathouth & John Coyne of Grenoke. Christopher Plunket of Killallon, (2) called Christopher Kegh,(3) illegitimate s. of Thomas Plunket, late of Loghcrew, had on 25 Nov 1522, the date of his outlawry, 3 cows worth 6s.8d each, 2 horses worth 6s.8d. each, 7 pigs worth 12d. each, 2a. corn worth 3s.4d. an acre, & 2a. oats worth 3s4d. an acre, & a 30 farm of 80a. in Ballenekyll(4) & Shancoxe, part of the manor of Killallon, co. Meath, held from John Plunket, Lord Kyllen, for 16 years from 10 Sept 1526 at 4m. p.a. & worth 3s.4d. more than that. The 3s.4d. are therefore taken into the King's hand.

Jurors:— Nicholas Huse of Bennetteston, William Rychen of Glaskarne, John Rathe of Loghsyde, Nicholas Scorlage of Grenoke, Richard Tayllor of Milton, Mathew Bathe of Beshelyston, Robert Capron of Loghshallagh, Nicholas Bertram of Rathtouth, Thomas Bermyngham of Pase, Gerald Foster of Kylgrege, John Owyn of Baldowgell & William Grove of Rathtouth. Onerus Ocoffye, an Irishman, was elected prior of St. Peter's, near Trim, by the community on 10 Jan 1531 & inducted by the bishop of Meath on 14 Feb. The possessions of the priory in Ballehake, B Rathouth, have therefore been taken into the king's hand. (2) Dormic' Mclnclery was presented to the vicarage of St. Mary's, Balleloghcrewe, co. Meath, by Oliver Plunkett on 8 Nov 1530. & admitted by the bishop of Meath through Master Alexander Plunket, LL.B., commissary of the archdeacon of Meath. (3) Terrilagh O Kerrolan was presented to the rectory of Cnoghe, co. Meath, worth 40s. p.a. on 12 A
