Archivium Hibernicum 1460 (31) Dicta die [12 Maii] una bulla pro Dermicio Oconcii super vicaria parrochialis ecclesiae de Lyseltyri Artfertensis dioceses… The mediaeval parish of Liselton (Lios-Eiltín) forms part of the modern parish of Ballybunion at the moth of the Shannon. Who the rectors were does not appear but the advowson of the vicarage belonged to the priory of Rattoo (FE 6034). There is a parallel entry to the present annate in C.P.L., xii. 79. The mediaeval graveyard of Liselton is still used. 1483 (85) Dicta die [1 Julii] Dns.
