"Pinkman Cor-dhoire = Round hill of the oak wood. This name occurs four times in the county… The Annals of Connaught mention Bealach-Corr-Doire, the pass of Corderry, in Muintir Cearbhalláin. McRannall, Chief of Muintir Eolais was slain there, (Con. 76A). Muintir Cearbhalláin (or Carolan) was the name of a tribe, and a district, in the barony of Leitrim. (Four Masters, Note, AD 1486). "

Drumahaire. B.C. may have been in tl. Corderry (Peyton), par. Kiltubbrid, bar./Co. Leitrim, where the road from Drumsna to Keshcarrigan passes between two hills. "
