    the hillock of Conóg?
    Conóg — ainm pearsanta
Uaireanta níl a oiread fianaise ann is a chuirfidh ar ár gcumas seanainm a cheangal le hainmneacha an lae inniu. Faightear an logainm Tulach na nÓc, ‘hillock of the warriors’, i laoi Fiannaíochta sa Leabhar Laighneach (dar teideal ‘Ligi Guill i mMaig Raigni’), ach ní dhéantar aon bheachtú ar ionad na háite; in Lige Guill, The Grave of Goll (2009), measann Diarmuid Ó Murchadha gur dócha gurb ionann é agus Tulaigh Óg / Tullaghoge, par. Dhíseart Dá Chríoch, Co. Thír Eoghain. Tá áit ar a dtugtar ‘Tech Chonóg i Mide’ luaite sa lámhscríbhinn Leabhar Leacáin. Ainm naoimh ab ea Con(n)óc de réir Corpus Genealogiarum Sanctorum Hiberniae. Seans gurb é an t-ainm pearsanta úd atá caomhnaithe sa logainm seo
