CPL IX 68-74 To the prior of SS. Peter and Paul's, Selleskerre by Wexford (juxta Weysfordiam), in the diocese of Ferns, and the archdeacon of Ferns. Mandate, at the recent petition of the Cistercian abbot and convent of St. Mary, Tintern (de Tynternia alias de Voto), in the diocese of Ferns—containing that formerly the late Thomas, bishop of Ferns, appropriated to them, with the consent of the dean and chapter of Ferns, the parish church of Kynnech in the said diocese, in the bishop's gift, on its voidance by the resignation of the late Nicholas Fitznicholl' to the said bishop, and reserved a portion for a perpetual vicar; and that they hold possession of the said church, whose value, after deducting the said portion, does not exceed 6 marks sterling, that of the said monastery not exceeding 100l. sterling—if they find the facts to be as stated, to confirm the said appropriation.
